THE CATALOGUE AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS

To celebrate this important exhibition, a prestigious catalogue will be published that represents one of the most complete monographs of Pintoricchio’s work. The publication will include essays by illustrious art experts and historians and contributions from the curators of the exhibition. The volume will also contain illustrations of all of the works in the exhibition.
In addition to this, the publisher Silvana Editoriale will release a guide to the Pintoricchio itineraries across Umbria, while also issuing a new edition of the title ‘Pintoricchio a Spello’. The Capella Baglioni in Santa Maria Maggiore, will be curated by Giordana Benazzi. A film dedicated to Pintoricchio in Umbria and available in DVD, will also be produced. It will present all of his works still located in the region, while also telling the stories of the locations and the towns where the paintings can be found.

MUSIC FOR PINTORICCHIO

As part of the celebrations for the exhibition, the Ensemble Laus Veris, including musicians from all over Europe, will produce a CD of music from the period in which Pintoricchio lived, it will include a recital of the manuscript G 20, conserved in the Biblioteca Augusta of Perugia and performed using instruments from the Borgia apartments in the Vatican that have been restored for this occasion.
